Lyrics & Melodies: When Artistry Meet Ministry: Stage 101
Lights, Camera, Action!!! Welcome to the Stage 101. Come and learn basic principles of acting, theatre and drama that is customized to gospel and social themes of today’s youth. This audience participative workshop will demonstrate performing, improvisation, interactive acting, production, and technical theatre. Go behind the scenes on how to create successful drama ministry in your very own church. It will touch on the origin of Christian drama and how it can be used as a vehicle to teach the bible, the gospel and the Seventh – day Adventist message in order to bring other closer to Christ in a creative way. It is an excellent introduction course to beginning your very own Stage Gospel Arts Outreach Ministry.

Improvisational Classes & Challenge

Improvisational Theatre is a form of theatre in which the improvisational actors/improvisers use improvisational acting techniques to perform spontaneously. This workshop teaches how to create an improv acting team, different improve games, and how to build successful programs centered around improvisational acting.

The Basics of Arts/Event Program Planning

This Workshop teaches goes behind the scenes provided steps and tools to help with the administrative areas of arts event planning. It will discuss specific administrative issues to the arts: communication, public relations, writing, development, policy, education, planning, outreach, budget, marketing and management for arts organizations and arts events.
